Valentine’s Day Inspired Cocktails at Walwick Hall

Valentine’s Day is almost here and what better way to celebrate the international day of love than with one of our romantic Valentine’s inspired drinks? This year, take the time to venture to our beautiful Grade-II listed hall and toast your love with one of our very special cocktails, available in our luxury Bar this weekend only. With beautiful pink and red drinks accounted for, complete with sprinklings of romantic petals and fruity garnishes, this delicious collection is the perfect way to set the mood for romance this weekend.

Rose Martini
A perfectly smooth cocktail for Valentine’s weekend, this Walwick Hall favourite comprises flavours of aromatised gin mixed with notes of blackcurrant to add a delicate depth. Shaken up and served in a martini glass with an elegant rose petal finish, this perfectly pink concoction not only tastes delicious but looks the part too.

Orange “Passion” Martini
A twist on the classic, this romantic cocktail combines seasonal orange purée with Orange Seville Gin for smooth, sweet Seville orange peel tones. A sweet full-bodied love potion with a crisp, citrusy flavour that you’re guaranteed to fall in love with.

Lady in Red
True love in a glass – juicy, refreshingly sweet and the most beautiful vibrant shade of red. This fruity cocktail using Red Grape Gin as a base with a splash of raspberry liquor, all topped up with ginger ale for the perfect hint of spice. An elegant choice for the elegant couple.

Bloody Mary
Using Pink Pepper gin, our Bloody Mary brings complexity and spice to the palate to create a bold new twist on a classic drink. Perfect for sipping on as you overlook our breathtaking countryside views of the surrounding Tyne Valley, this indulgent cocktail will have you speaking the language of love in no time. Please ask your server to spice and ice to your preference.  

Taittinger Prestige Rosé
Prefer to add some sparkle to your evening? There are few drink choices more special than our Taittinger Prestige Rosé. The intense and brilliant colour of this stunning wine comes from a quantity of still pinot noir from Reims being added to the final blend. Cherry and blackcurrant flood the senses and the full, velvety mouthful gives way to the romantic red fruit finish.

Taittinger Nocturne Sec
When the celebrations continue into the night, Taittinger Nocturne Sec is the perfect choice. This wine is far from sweet, but with flavours of dried apricots, golden raisins and hints of gingerbread, it’s guaranteed to appeal to all.
