Chef de Partie

We are currently recruiting for a full-time (variable rota), experienced Chef de Partie to join our brilliant and busy kitchen team here at Walwick Hall.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with Menus, prep work and relevant service.
  • Preparing and producing food as directed using modern methods, equipment, and fresh food.
  • Ensuring that the section operates effectively daily.
  • Ensuring that all food cooked and served is of a high quality.
  • Maintaining a sufficient level of mise en place for Lunch and Dinner service.

Knowledge, experience and skills required:

  • Previous experience is essential.
  • Qualifications desirable.
  • Must be able to work evening and weekend shifts.
  • Ability to demonstrate good food production.
  • Ability to work under the pressure of a busy Kitchen.
  • Must be enthusiastic towards work, cooking to a high standard and being part of a team.

  • Starting salary (based on experience) of £18,800.

Reception Team

We are currently recruiting for a full-time (40 hours per week), permanent member of our Reception Team to join us here at Walwick Hall in time for our reopening. As part of this role, the successful applicant will be the proud face of Walwick Hall and will therefore be expected to have excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality. As part of your day-to-day tasks, you will be required to answer the phone to those enquiring about a booking at both the Hotel and Spa, greet Walwick Hall’s guests on arrival and look after them throughout their stay with us, as well as be comfortable working across various systems.

Knowledge, experience and skills required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure but maintain high standards.
  • Enthusiastic towards work and providing guests with assistance. 
  • Must be able to work evening and weekend shifts.
  • Experience of Guestline is preferred, but training will be given.
  • Must be able to work both as part of a team and on your own in a busy environment.
  • Due to our location and the requirement to work shifts, a driving license and own transport is essential.

Kitchen Porter

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Kitchen Porter to work in our busy kitchen here at Walwick Hall, in time for our reopening. The successful applicant will be responsible for the cleaning of dishes from both the Kitchen and Restaurant, as well as maintaining high-standards of cleanliness across all areas in the Kitchen. 

Knowledge, experience and skills required:

  • Previous experience within a kitchen is desirable.

Spa Therapist

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time, experienced Spa Therapist to join our boutique Spa at Walwick Hall, working with luxury Spa brand, Germaine de Capuccini. As a Spa Therapist, you will work in our Treatment Room and remain in charge of Spa guests and consultation sessions – looking after guests throughout their experience in the Spa. You’ll need to be confident performing a range of luxury treatments in line with the specialist brand training you’ll receive upon joining us, and will need to coordinate with the Reservation Team to ensure the best available service for our guests.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Relevant qualifications are essential.
