Behind our Spa doors: Meet Melissa, our team member of the month

Introducing Melissa Soulsby, our Head Spa Therapist here at Walwick Hall and our new team member of the month! Mel has been with us for over 2 years and is always committed to providing our Spa clients with the most relaxing and luxurious experience possible. Fully trained in both Germaine de Capuccini and Elemis, Mel is extremely knowledgeable about our list of treatments and therapies, and will be more than happy to advise you on the best treatments or products to suit your specific needs. Always arriving to work with a bright smile (and matching bright nails and toes!), Mel is a true asset to our Spa offering and the Walwick Hall team as a whole. Hi Mel, congratulations on being our new team member of the month! What’s been the highlight of your 2 years at Walwick Hall?
There’s been so many, but I have to say that a real highlight for me was the Spa’s brand switching last year from Elemis to Germaine de Capuccini. I absolutely love been able to work with a brand as luxury as Germaine de Capuccini – the products and treatment are of such a premium quality. I love seeing our clients so happy with their results.

What’s your favourite treatment available in the Spa?
I would say my favourite treatment at the moment is the Excel Therapy O2 Cityproof Facial. It works to instantly repair and defend the skin against pollution damage and external stress, which I think is really important in today’s climate.

And, outside the Spa, what’s your favourite thing about Walwick Hall?
Definitely the Festive Afternoon Tea – it’s the smell of Christmas!

What do you like to do outside of work?
I always love spending time as much time as I can with my family, particularly my young nephews. I also love a good Christmas Market, so I’m really looking forward to attending the Living North Christmas Fair with the Walwick Hall team next week!

Can you tell us what you’ll be offering at the Living North Christmas Fair?
We’ll be offering all visitors at the fair luxury manicures and hand massages using our Jessica products, but we’ve also got some more exciting offers up our sleeves so watch this space!
